Prof. Dr. Murat Batı

Prof. Dr. Murat Batı is a leading academician and a former Expert of Ministry of Finance Income Administration. He regularly advises multinational and local corporations and is very well-known with this books and articles in dailies on various aspects of tax law.
Murat Batı was appointed by High Education Council as an Assoc. Prof. in 2016. He holds a PhD at Istanbul University (2012), a graduate degree at Hacettepe University (2005) and a Bachelor’s Degree at Gazi University School of Economics and Administrative Sciences (1998).
He is the Head of the Public Law Division and Fiscal Law Department of May 19 University. Murat Batı has 12 years of experience as a scholar and worked for the Ministry of Finance Income Administration for 8 years.
His recent publications include the books "Tax Law (General Provisions)" (2021) and "Accounting Frauds and Legality of Tax Avoidance under Turkish Law” (2021).
