Yalçın Özge Okat has 24 years of transactional and regulatory experience in the areas of Banking, Finance and Capital Markets and intensively worked on corporate matters. He provided legal services for 10 years at Pekin&Pekin and 13 years at the Capital Markets Board. He advises multinational banks, fintech companies, crypto currency exchanges, finance companies, private equities, hedge funds and corporations in various cross-border and domestic transactions and regulatory matters. He advises regularly on cryptocurrency/ fan token issuances, customized capital markets solutions, equity and debt securities offerings, derivatives and private placements.
He holds a Graduate Degree in Law and Business at Northwestern University School of Law and Kellogg School of Management (2007) and LL.B. from Ankara University, Faculty of Law (1996).
His publications include the books "Principles of Capital Markets Law" (2021) (together with Vural Günal) and "Investment Funds under Turkish and EU Law" (2009) and several articles on capital markets and banking&finance matters.
He's a member of Istanbul Bar Association.
